Playball has been designed for children between the ages of 2 and 6. Our program is age specific with the children progressing from basic gross motor and ball skills to more structured sports participation. All classes take place in a positive, safe and non - threatening environment. It is important to involve parents and teachers in the learning process which is why we provide regular feedback sessions with the teachers and give parents feedback twice a year in the form of written reports. Speech & DramaBronwyn Marx
Bronwyn Marx achieved her Advanced Ballet Certificate and Teachers when she was 19 years old and taught classical ballet. Bronwyn achieved her Trinity College Speech and Drama Certificate when she moved to Cape Town 25 years back and has taught speech and drama in schools in Hout Bay and Llandudno. Bronwyn’s first drama classes started at Hout Bay Montessori and are held here every Wednesday for both pre-primary and primary students |

Thelma is the isiXhosa teacher in the Senior Primary classroom. She has been teaching in many Montessori classrooms, preschools and even colleges included. She recently joined the HBM team and has been using her skill of teaching the isiXhosa language to the Senior Primary classroom. |

Kung FuSiphiwo's been doing Kungfu for 20 years and has practiced in many different styles of Kungfu.
Siphiwo started with competitive Kungfu in 2004 known as Wushu and entered his first competition the same year. His record is: 8 times undefeated South African Champion in Sanshou (fighting(Wushu)). Siphiwo has represented SA in three different World Champs: 2005 Vietnam - 8th World Wushu Champs - Achieved 4th place; 2007 China - 9th World Wushu Champs - Achieved 6th place; 2009 Canada - 10th World Wushu Champs - Achieved 4th place. Siphiwo now teaches kids from 6 years old to adults from the Houtbay Library and has produced two SA champs, one Senior and one Junior in fighting. He currently has 8 junior SA champs in Forms (Taolu) aka set performance pieces. |
